Property has always been Helen’s passion. She has been buying, renovating and selling properties for many years. In Australia, her first investment property purchase was a unit in Tamarama. Location and price were driving factors in her purchase, she renovated it on a shoe-string budget, $30k, and doubled her money when she sold it two years later.
Her love of property started in the UK, whilst she was working full time as a TV producer in London. She bought a small unrenovated flat, gutted and then flipped it, making more money than she did in 2 years of working fulltime. Her next property was buying a big house and converting it into 3 apartments.
Helen has been buying and renovating properties ever since and it turns out that bricks and mortar have always been Helen’s best financial investments.
